Acute Trauma Dit Da Jow | 4 fl oz

The first formula deployed when tissue is shocked. CHONG drives directly into the site of impact, moving blood, clearing stasis, and opening channels before swelling has time to organize into something stubborn. This is Phase 1 medicine: fast, cool, penetrating. CHONG does not warm. It moves, which is what lets it go onto a hot, swollen, acute injury where warming liniments are contraindicated.

Chief herb San Qi at 21% anchors the formula alongside the three classical resins, with Xue Jie leading because the acute phase needs stopping and dispersing at once, Ru Xiang covering the sinew layer, and Mo Yao reaching the blood depth. Hong Hua spreads the blood-moving action across the surface. Chi Shao cools the blood and holds the whole formula to its cool-neutral character. Ze Lan moves the fluid that swells an acute injury. Yan Hu Suo moves qi and blood to relieve the pain. Bing Pian opens the surface and carries the formula deep, its own cool nature adding no heat to the acute field.

Indicated for: Acute sprains, contusions, impact trauma, and sports injuries in the first 0 to 72 hours, including hot, swollen, acutely painful tissue where warming liniments cannot be used. Upper and lower body. After 72 hours, transition to the site-specific liniment: JIAN, ZHOU, YAO, or XI.

Application: 3 to 5 sprays to the affected area, beginning as soon after injury as possible. Massage in until absorbed. Three to five times daily. Do not apply heat in the acute phase. Shake before use.
