The middle phase of injury recovery is where most internal formulas fail the patient. They are either still moving blood when the body needs building, or they are tonifying when residual stasis still needs to be cleared. JIE NEI is built for the intermediate phase: Phase 2, weeks 2 through 12, where the simultaneous tasks are structural support, channel reopening, and controlled nourishment of the sinew-bone system. The formula is neutral to slightly warm in temperature, suited to a phase in which acute inflammation has resolved and the clinical task shifts from clearing residual stasis toward nourishing and rebuilding the sinew-bone terrain.

Du Zhong leads at 19%, the highest structural herb dose in the internal line, matched to the phase in which Kidney-Liver nourishment of bone and sinew is the primary task. Xu Duan at 15% supports tendon and bone continuity; its name means to reconnect what is broken. Ji Xue Teng at 13% moves and nourishes blood simultaneously. Bu Gu Zhi activates the bone-level action that Du Zhong and Gu Sui Bu depend on. E Jiao at 7% provides the yin-blood nourishment that recovering sinew-bone tissue draws on.

Indicated for: Subacute and chronic musculoskeletal injury, Phase 2 recovery (2 weeks to 3 months post-injury), chronic joint deficiency, ligament and tendon recovery protocols, chronic joint channel obstruction. Primary internal companion to JIE and SHU topical oils.

Contraindicated in: Active acute inflammation (use CHONG NEI instead). Excess or heat patterns.

Suggested Use: 6 capsules (3g) twice daily with warm water, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner. Standard course: 4 to 12 weeks.
